WHO IS paul & helen?

Hello, I'm Paul Armand, inspired by God's love, I am committed to spreading the Gospel's message of salvation and extending acts of kindness and generosity to the downtrodden.
As a pastoral counselor, I am dedicated to blending timeless biblical wisdom with holistic therapeutic approaches to help people lead fuller, happier lives. With an open heart and a listening ear, I offer personalized guidance without judgment. Life hasn't always been smooth sailing for me—I've faced challenges like fighting deportation from the US and surviving a heart attack. However, these experiences have given me insight into the struggles of others.

My academic journey, culminating in a Doctor of Ministry (in Pastoral Care) and a Doctor of Philosophy (in Christian Counseling), harmonizes seamlessly with my deep-seated commitment to assisting others. Over the span of two decades, I've dedicated myself to serving as a Chaplain in several hospitals and hospices across California and Oregon. Through this vocation, I've had the privilege of offering comfort and sharing the gospel with countless individuals, enriching their lives with compassion and faith.

Helen's extensive executive career spanning over three decades showcases her expertise in various roles, but her true passion lies in providing care and counseling. Her compassion extends to memory-impaired senior adults, offering invaluable practical support and companionship. Helen's life reflects faith-driven service, marked by her unwavering commitment to uplifting others in every aspect of life. She has a special interest in serving unwed single mothers and young abandoned children.

Together, we've dedicated our lives to the Lord, compelled by a burden to support Filipino migrant workers through WorldVenture. These individuals need to experience care, love, acceptance, and forgiveness in Christ. Finally, our over three decades of life experiences in North America uniquely qualify us to empathize with overseas Filipino workers, providing the support and peace of mind they need during difficult times. In addition to counseling, we offer personal coaching, consultancy sessions, and workshops in companies, churches, and communities.
PAUL ARMAND'S TESTIMONY

On March 25, 2023, in the dead of night, I found myself gasping for breath, teetering on the edge of eternity. Thanks to the swift action of Eugene Oregon's emergency responders, I was whisked away to Sacred Heart Medical Center. For seven long days, I lay in the sterile confines of the ICU, tethered unconscious to my bed, enveloped in the prayers of loved ones and the gentle care of hospital staff. Upon awakening, I was met not with fear, but with a renewed sense of purpose. Despite no heavenly visions, my soul undeniably longed to serve the Lord in the mission field. This awakening prompted me to delve deeper into my search for meaning, emphasizing the importance of health, spiritual growth, and community engagement.

The experience taught me to cherish every moment, to prioritize self-care, and to foster meaningful connections with those around me. It revealed the fragility of life and the urgency of answering God's call. Despite the challenges, my heart resonated with a resolute determination to heed the call to mission work. As I reflect on my journey, I am compelled to challenge each of you to seize the fleeting moments we've been given. Let us embrace a life of purpose and passion, answering God's call with courage and conviction. Together, let us step into the mission field, where God's love knows no bounds and where every soul longs to be touched by His grace.
